EOF: The National Medicines Agency, through relevant announcements, announced its decision for immediate withdrawal from the market of two well-known products.
With an official announcement of o National Medicines Agency, announces its decision for immediate recall of two products from the Greek market. According to EOF announcements, a drug with main use in endocrine problems and a dietary supplement “for healthier hair, skin and nails” are being recalled.
Thus EOF recalls the following:
HYDROCORTISONE TABL. 30 × 20 MG, due to the possible presence of dianicotyl product in the package.
As mentioned in the announcement of EOF, it was decided to “withdraw the lot 1593 (expiration date 27/05/2025) of the medicinal product HYDROCORTISONETABL 30x20mg, due to the possible presence of dianicotyl product in the package.
This decision is issued in order to strengthen the voluntary recall that has been made by the company IFETA.E., As a local representative of the product in Greece, must contact its customers directly, in order to withdraw it from the market. The documents of the revocation must be kept for a period of at least five (5) years and must be brought to the attention of the AEO, if requested “.
HAIRTONE SKIN NAILS 30caps, because the unauthorized substance ethylene oxide was detected.
As it is typically mentioned in the announcement of EOF, it was decided to “withdraw the batches F05122 and F07228 of the food supplement HAIRTONE SKIN NAILS 30 caps, because the unapproved substance ethylene oxide was detected. The product was distributed by the company AminolabsBV, Belgium, to the company POWERHEALTHHELLASΑE.
This decision is a precautionary measure to protect Public Health. The company must contact its customers directly in order to withdraw it from the market, informing the AEO about the customer list, the movement documents in the internal market or in another Member State or in a third country with the full details of the companies ( name, address, quantities) as well as for the management of any stocks of the above product. The relevant documents must be kept for a period of at least five (5) ‘.
