Increase 1.6% in arrivals and 1.8% in overnight stays recorded by ELSTAT In July 2025, compared to the corresponding month of 2024, in hotel accommodation, camping and short residence accommodation (rooms to rent), and reached 6,388,875 arrivals and overnight stays at 31,042,269.
In particular, according to ELSTAT, there was a 1.4% increase in arrivals and 1.6% in foreigners’ nights. For the domestic, there was an increase in arrivals and overnight stays of 2.7% and 3.1%, respectively.
A greater contribution to arrivals and overnight stays, in all accommodation, was observed by foreigners, with 79.9% and 87.4%, respectively. The average total overnight stay was 4.9 days.
