A 25 -year -old alien who proved to be a member of a criminal organization was arrested yesterday at noon, Saturday (28/9/2025) by police as he attempted to import via the airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”18kg of raw cannabis Hydroponic cultivation (skunk).
Officers found the 25 -year -old as targeted checks are being made to prevent drug imports into the country by airport, and this time through “Eleftherios Venizelos”. By utilizing the necessary information and creating profiling, the young man with hemp bags was identified and his criminal activity was confirmed.
Specifically, the 25 -year -old was coming from a foreign country when he arrived at the airport and was identified by police officers from the Athens Drugs Prosecution Department at the airport arrivals.
He had hidden in his suitcase in order to move them, 36 packages containing 18,600 grams of raw hydroponic cultivation (SKUNK).
Another mobile phone was found and confiscated and the detainee was found, with the case file against him for violating drug laws, was taken to the competent prosecutor.
