In the Russian Far East, there have been little damage.
There are currently no reports of victims, except for some minor injuries.

‘Rapid and devastating rise’ in California
The Los Angeles Meteorological Service in the state of California, USA, says there is “a rapid and destructive rise of sea level” in Port San Luis, which “is turned into a tide in just a few minutes”.
“Do not return to the flooded areas as the water will retreat, but they may return many times over the next 24 hours, and the first wave may not be the largest,” residents warned.

Several countries in the Pacific Ocean have issued a tsunami warnings and urged residents to evacuate the coastal areas.
In the US state of Hawaii, the tsunami warning was downgraded to counseling, allowing residents to return to their homes.
There is also no further threat of a tsunami for the Guam, Rota, Tinian or Saipan islands in the Pacific Ocean.

“If you live in an area inside the tsunami zone, first of all we invite you to go to a friend’s house, a neighbor’s home in your workplace. But go in and upwards, outside the tsunami zone. “
Authorities are on foot and warn people to find refuge in houses and public places high enough to protect themselves from the impending tsunami.
