“Earth’s time” is being held for the 19th year, reminding millions of citizens, businesses and governments that we should not be indifferent to our common home. On the contrary, we must show respect for the environment by taking drastic measures to tackle climate change.
So let’s go aside our routine and take some time for the longest time on the earth, turning off the lights from 20:30 to 21.30 pm
According to the WWF announcement, “the sea is our home, our history, our survival and our summers. It is the home for unique species such as whale blowers, Caretta caretta turtles and Mediterranean seals.
Beaches and tourist destinations for every taste, underwater routes, travel at sea and Greek fishermen who have kept the thread of our tradition alive for centuries. This is a taste only by the rich mosaic of the Greek sea »
For this reason, WWF is calling for all citizens to “remember the enormous value of our sea and its valuable resources to be informed of the threats of the marine ecosystem, and to actively contribute to the protection of our seas”
