The compensations of the certified professional lawyers and accountants-tax technicians for their participation in the award process were determined by a Joint Ministerial Decision (JMD). pensions by e-EFKA.

It is reminded that more than 3,600 applications of lawyers and accountants have been submitted, while for 1,200 of them their training and certification will be completed within the next few days, in order to be included in the process of awarding pensions by e-EFKA within October.

The beneficiaries of the compensations are defined as the certified professionals, who, after assignment, have issued certificates or have drafted decisions which have been submitted by the insured to e-EFKA.

The process

Specifically, the assignment is notified to e-EFKA and receives a relevant protocol number.

On the certificate or the draft decision, prepared by the certified professional and submitted by the insured to e-EFKA, the protocol number of the assignment is written.

E-EFKA checks the correspondence between the submitted certificate or the submitted draft decision and the subject of the assignment.

If the submitted certificates or plans correspond to the assignment, e-EFKA proceeds to the payment of the respective compensation with an equal credit of the bank account declared by the certified professional.

Compensation per category

More specifically, as mentioned in an announcement of e-EFKA, the compensation to which the certified professional is entitled for the transactions in each category is determined as follows:

Issuance of insurance time certificate:

a) 40 euros, when the certificate concerns a former social security institution.

(ab) 80 euros, when it concerns more than one institution.

Issuance of a certificate of non-existence of due contributions of self-employed or self-employed person / submission of an application for regulation of due contributions: 30 euros.

Issuance of a certificate of amount due for the recognition of fictitious time: 30 euros.

Draft decision of temporary pension or final pension (main or auxiliary): 60 euros per project. If the pension is awarded on the basis of the provisions of successive or parallel insurance, 15 euros are added to the compensation per plan for each former social security institution included in the plan with more than one.

Issuance of a pre-retirement certificate of article 47 of law 2676/1999 (A ‘1): 60 euros. If the certificate relates to insurance time spent with more than one former social security provider, the fee is € 80.

According to e-EFKA, “the partnership of lawyers and accountants is expected to contribute significantly to the faster award of pensions. Already, the rate of awards has doubled compared to the first half of 2019, as each month 20,000 pensions are awarded and the goal in the coming months is to further increase to 30,000 awards each month.
