A shocking BBC survey revealed that former London bus driver Charles Mwesigwa was recorded by a camera to boast about the “crazy things” that women working for him are willing to do to satisfy customers – including their infamous “Porta Potties”.

Two women lost their lives

One of the women who died, Monic Karungi, arrived in the Emirate from West Uganda. She was found to share an apartment with dozens of other women working for Mwesigwa, according to one of the women we call Keira, who says she lived with Monic there in 2022.
