Donetsk: 148 miners were trapped by Russian bombing – one dead and three injured

Dozens of people were trapped in mine to Ukraineafter a Russian bombing in Donetsk, with the first report being one dead and three injured.

The Russian bombing was carried out in the Donobropilla region in the Donetsk region in Eastern Ukraine, resulting in a suspension of electricity in a local mine.

According to the head of the Ukrainian Free Trade Union Confederation, Mikailos VolNetz, due to the Russian attack and the interruption of electricity 148 miners remain trapped in a mine in the area, which is well known for large coal reserves.

The whole area has been in the center of Russian hostilities, with Russian forces being promoted to the Donetsk area.

The Ukrainian forces sent aid and, according to their announcement, to repel and in some cases to encircle the enemy forces, even capturing captives.

Despite efforts for peace, the war between Russia and Ukraine continues to rage with each other bombings causing blows in the two countries.
