Alarm rang on Sunday night (15.06.2025) after a suspected backpack found on the side of the hotel Great Britain at the University.
On the spot, he rushed to the unit of the Explosive Mechanisms (TEEM) neutralization section to investigate the object found in the central part of Athens, at the Great Britain Hotel in Syntagma Square.
Due to the planned police check, the site was excluded – earlier the release of the university had been interrupted by its contribution to Vas. Georgiou Street.
Shortly after 23:00, the alarm ends and the road was re -entered into traffic.
Note, earlier in Syntagma Square, a multitude of people in favor of Palestine were demonstrating.
