Diplomatic Sources: Renewal of Visa-Express Program in Greek Islands for Turks

The European Committee- following actions by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs- approved the renewal for an additional year, from April 1, 2025, of the short-stay visa visa program (visa) to Aegean islands for Turkish Citizens and members of their families, according to diplomatic sources.

The Commission welcomed the successful implementation of the visa program for Turkish citizens in the previous twelve months and recognized its positive contribution to promoting contacts between the two peoples, as the same sources say.

It is recalled that the program concerns the islands Kalymnos, Kastelorizo, Kos, Lesvos, Leros, Lemnos, Rhodes, Samos, Symi, Chios and extends to additional two, Patmos and Samothraki, A total of 12 Greek islands.

OR Duration of visa will be seven days and will be granted at the points of entry to the ports of the islands.
