Diogo Zota: The wife who “bent” over Portugal’s casket and his supporter grandfather

The latest and moving “goodbye” was said by relatives, friends and teammates – Saturday afternoon (05.07.2025) – Diogo Zota And Andre Silva.

Diogo Zota and Andre Silva died in a traffic accident on Thursday morning (03.05.2025) sinking Portuguese football and Liverpool into mourning.

The funeral service took place in the hometown of the two players, Godmaker. The tragic figure was Diogo Zota’s wife, Route Cardoso, and the parents of the two players.

Upon completion of the ceremony and before the two unjust footballers buried, Rute Cardoso appeared to hold her husband’s coffin and “bend”, burst into tears.

Their father, Zokim, their mother Isabelle and their grandfather, obviously moved, accepted the support of friends and relatives.

Indeed, the grandfather of the family came out of the Church of the Resurrection, supported and apparently moved.
