OR Paphos continues to write history in Champions League! The Cypriot team scored a huge 1-0 win over Dinamo Kiev and took another step towards qualifying for the play-offs of the top cross-country competition.
As in the previous round against Maccabi Tel Aviv, Juan Karsedo’s team has shown character, patience and efficiency away from home. In a game that looked 0-0, Anderson in the 84th minute with an impressive finish gave Paphos the victory and sent it a significant lead in the Champions League in Cyprus.
Dinamo had her moments, culminating in Dubidsak’s 36 ‘beam, but failed to find nets so she was defeated. Paphos, for its part, scored the biggest chance it had in the game and now has the score in its rematch.
