THE Panathinaikos amateur announced Monday afternoon (28.04.2025) the final results of the election for the election of a new Chairman and New Board of Directors, held on Sunday (27.04.2025).
The president of the Amateur Panathinaikos, as the only candidate, was Dimitris Vranopoulos, who received 498 votes, that is, less than 50% of the 1,089 members who voted on Sunday, either live or by letter.
PA Panathinaikos PA major shareholder and Board candidate Yiannis Alafouzos took 10th place and stayed out of the Board of Directors (the first 8 in votes take place) in one of the big “surprises” of the Athletic Club elections.
The second, which is impressed, is the fact that of the members in the combination of Dimitris Vranopoulos were elected to the first octave of only three (Stathokostopoulos, Bakolitsas, Tania Vranopoulou), while the other five members are from the lineup that had expressed its opposition to ” Panagiotopoulos), with the first (Kokkinakis) gathering the largest number of votes by all candidates (564).
It remains to be seen the… fermentations that will follow in the coming hours and whether the BoD will eventually form, as the side of the new president (Vranopoulos) does not have the proportion of the members he wished to the new Board of Directors and all scenarios are open.

These were the total results of the total of 1,089 votes, letter and division, for the election of chairman and board members.
Without prejudice to the audit before the Electoral Committee and the candidates of any letter votes which were sent in time and were not received prior to the elections.
In the event of any letter, these letter will be seamless (closed) in order to carry out a check by the electoral and the candidates before they are open to them.
Outside Mr. Vrenopoulos, the first 8 are elected as regular members of the Board of Directors and the rest as alternates in order of their election. “
