His borrowing Dimitris Limniou to Fortuna Panathinaikos was formalized on Wednesday afternoon (16.07.2025).
The 27 -year -old Greek extremist will compete in the Dutch team for the next season, with Fortuna Sittard reporting that there is a market option.
Dimitris Limnios normally participated in the basic stage of Panathinaikos’ preparation in Austria, but on the return of the team he was informed that he was not in Roui Vittoria.
Limnios is not unknown in the Dutch stadiums. In the 2021/2022 season, the extremist spent a borrowed season at Twente. He made 33 appearances for the team from Erdivisie in the team, scoring 8 goals and giving 2 assists. Basic in both matches against Sittard, giving assists to the goal of Ricky Volfsvinkel at the “Grolsch Veste” stage.
The international Greek extremist (26 entries) came from the Atromitos Youth Academy, after which he also competed for PAOK in his home country. After a period in Cologne and a loan in Twente, Limnios returned to Greece in the summer of 2024 to join Panathinaikos.
