Changes to the mandatory application schedule of Digital Shipment The Independent Public Revenue Authority may carry out (AADE).
According to a television interview by AADE Governor George Pitsilis, it is not excluded that an extension be extended to the compulsory measure of the use of the digital shipping note for 150,000 businesses from 25 branches, with the initial planning on April 1st.
Specifically, April 1st is the milestone launch of a mandatory application of the measure for businesses with an annual turnover of over 200,000 euros and for businesses regardless of turnover active in the energy products (fuel), pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, construction materials, production, standardization and trading. For other businesses, compulsory is foreseen with the start of Phase II on October 1, 2025.
Indeed, those who do not comply with the obligation to replace the old shipping reports with their new digital version are at risk of fines that can reach up to 10,000 euros.
However, Mr. Pitsilis in his statements left open the possible appeal of the original programming: “… we may need to make a small timeline on the timetables. We are in discussion with the Ministry of Finance. If we say something we will say it very soon. We may need to make a little adjustment to the second phase schedule. It will not be for a few days but let’s have the official announcements after the final consultation with the minister. “
