The fire in Thassos remains ongoing, and the front is considered critical in Prinos bay in the northwest of the island, where extinguishing efforts are intensive due to difficulty access.

According to the Fire Service, so far, no houses are threatened, but the situation remains volatile. The fiery homes are found in Prinos (three at different points) and one in Maries.
The island initially operated 18 firefighters with 8 vehicles, and forces from Kavala.

According to the Fire Brigade, 50 firefighters, as well as 3 groups of 2nd and 7th hikers, arrived with 13 vehicles.
