“We homogenize all the services so that the same supporting documents are requested by the citizen wherever he is,” Papastergiou explained.
Speaking about the renaming of the ministry to digital governance and artificial intelligence, he explained that “by this decision the government and the prime minister himself mark the depth they give to artificial intelligence”.
As he analyzed, the country should not be fragmented by resources and forces in different models of artificial intelligence. “We have to go tuned,” he said.
Referring to technologies focusing on artificial intelligence, he said that “those states of artificial intelligence infrastructure are preceded”. As he said, “Europe was left behind and is trying to make its second wave of artificial intelligence.”
“The goal,” he said, “is to develop infrastructure.” In this context, the European Initiative for High Performance Computers is being “running” and Greece – as he said – filed a proposal to create a computer included “in Europe’s top ten”.
It is the “Daedalus” that will allow our country to “develop its own language models and applications”. Mr Papastergiou said that “it is the first of a series of machinery” and added that Greece has already “submitted a second sentence” for a machine in the Western Macedonia – and specifically – in Kozani “Which will complement the operational capacity of” Daedalus “.”
The aim of the country, Mr. Papastergiou emphasized, is to attract people of start -ups using resources and infrastructure.
For the space, Mr. Papastergiou pointed out that “the first Greek -made microfiber was launched yesterday” to do an experiment with a Laser with a space device 300 million kilometers away.
Continuing on the energy needs of technological infrastructure, Mr Papastergiou stressed that “applications for artificial intelligence centers and data center centers are too many” while continuing to say that in order to meet energy needs, “the next two years have increased by ten times the country’s potential”.
For this reason, Greece, she explained, should use the renewable energy, stressing that “we went well in this rally” and said that we must “be careful to succeed in having solutions for storage and cross -border connections in time”.
“Thanks to our geographical point,” said Papastergiou, “Greece can support, welcome and accommodate extremely critical infrastructure for Europe and the Arab world.”
“It is,” he continued, “reception point of telecommunications cables” and if we succeed in combining proficiency in energy with storage then – as he characteristically said – “the game is of particular geostrategic interest.”
The “Nisyros Dialogues” are held from July 3 to July 6 in Nisyros. The Dodecanese Island hosts the event for the fourth consecutive year.
