An elderly man lost control of his car in the center of Copenhagen In Denmark, injuring 11 people, three of whom are in critical condition, the capital’s police said.
The incident happened after 3:30 pm Wednesday (30.04.2025) On the Queen Louisa Bridge in Copenhagenwhere emergency services and police rushed to the spot immediately.
According to the testimonies he collected, an elderly driving a car “probably allegedly hit an obstacle and lost control of the vehicle at that time,” police explained.
“Eleven people were injured in the accident – three are in critical condition,” Copenhagen police added.
“Then, the car continued, hit a cyclist and climbed the sidewalk near a cafe where there is an outdoor space like a terrace, and continued on the sidewalk, where he threw other people down,” the police said.




Some eyewitnesses drank coffee in this busy neighborhood of the capital during the accident.




“We were there with friends, we ate and heard something, as if he were falling from the sky,” explained a 60 -year -old eyewitness, Sergio Maya.
The driver is included in the injured and it is not yet possible to investigate, police said.
