Five people were injured when an elderly man allegedly lost control of his car and pulled near a bridge crossing in Copenhagen.

According to first reports, the driver of the car lost control of his vehicle under unknown circumstances and dragged many pedestrians, injuring at least 5 people on the spot.

The capital’s emergency services write in X that a person was hit by a car on the Queen Louisa Bridge in Copenhagen. The bridge is located next to the lakes in the capital.

A red car is with a broken front on the spot, while an elderly man was released from the car and transported with a stretcher.

Eyewitnesses described that they saw the vehicle moving at high speed to the outside seats of a store. A victim was undergoing a CPR and later regained his senses, according to one witness.
