Addressing the officers, officers, soldiers, sailors, Smmenites, ethnic guardians, reserves and the civilian staff of the Armed Forces, he said: “Today’s day marks the starting point of our National Paligenia. “The national anniversary coincides with the Feast of the Annunciation, with the Feast of the Virgin, the protector of our armed forces. Orthodoxy is, as I have repeatedly reiterated, the identity of modern Hellenism. Only with the maintenance of the elements of our national identity, Greece will stand strong, stable and dominant, ready to meet the challenges of the times.
