The Minister of National Defense attended the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Metropolitan Church of Saints Constantine and Eleni Kastellorizou, in which the Metropolitan of Symi, Tilos, Halkis & Kastellorizou danced. Chrysostom. Immediately afterwards he participated in the ritual of the sacred image.

Mr Dendias then visited the headquarters of the island of Defense (DAN) Maximumwhere she toured her premises.
Subsequently, the Minister of National Defense went to Rome, where she filed a Stefano to her monument ‘Lady of Rome’, Despina Achladiot and attended the inauguration and sanctification of the newly built Military Military Survey (EF).
In his address after the end of the inauguration, Mr. Dendias said:
‘Ladies and gentlemen,
It is a great honor and joy that I am here today, on the day of the feast of Saints Constantine and Helen, in Rome, for the third time. This time on the occasion of the inauguration of the supervisory prison, which is a donation by the Hellenic Parliament, as an authentic expression of the popular will. That is why I would like to thank the previous Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Costas Tasoula, for this donation, which was made in his days, under his presidency.
I do not need to explain – I think it is well known – that the geopolitical significance of this islet is enormous, as is the complex of the Great, Kastellorizos.
And, of course, Despina Achladiotou, Akritas here, in Rome for 34 years, until her death, raised the Greek flag every day.
Today’s ceremony is a continuation of a series of inauguration of surveillance prisons, the latter at “Agios Fanourio” in Symi. They are parts of the effort to modernize the armed forces of our homeland and the living conditions of our staff, the 2030 agenda.
Because I have repeatedly said that staff are the largest power multiplier of the Armed Forces.
Returning to the geographical point where we are, I do not need to remind you that the complex of Great is part of the Dodecanese. It is a reference point for the sovereignty and sovereign rights of our country, for our exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
Any view of the Dodecanese or the complex of the Great as isolated is I think an approach outside the reality of international law, outside the reality of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
And it is also an opportunity to remind me many times that the contract for sea law is part of the European acquis. That is, part of the total principles governing the European Union.
And I have also repeatedly said that if neighboring Turkey in its course in the future, I hope to approach Europe and not deviation, chooses to sign the contract for sea law, then 95%, not to say 100%of its difference with Greece.
In any case, we Greeks in a time of geopolitical changes and disputes will always do what the duty and the Constitution impose. We will defend the sovereignty and sovereign rights of our country. And the body of defense of these rights was, is and will always be the Greek Armed Forces.
The Greek Armed Forces are a reliable body of power but also inextricably linked to Greek society.
