Democracy Movement: “Famellos and Spirtzis are trying to fool society and relatives of the victims of Tempi”

On the occasion of the Tempe tragedy and the need to clarify the causes that led to it, the political confrontation is intensifying. At the center are the proposals of Messrs. Famellou and Spirtzwho propose to activate the “Special Committee” of Article 86 (5), a proposal already rejected by the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Kaklamanis.

Famellos: calls for the establishment of a pre -trial committee for Christos Spirtzis

The Democracy Movement, in its present announcement, denounces the movements of Messrs. Famellou and Spirtz as an attempt to conceal political games, accusing them of a lack of respect for the victims and citizens. At the same time, the Democracy Movement emphasizes the need to set up a pre -trial committee for all, without exceptions, as the only solution to revealing truth and the administration of justice.

In detail the announcement of the Democracy Movement

In good cooperation, Messrs. Famellos and Spirtzis are currently trying to fool society and especially relatives of the victims of Tempi crime.

They both proposed to activate the “Special Committee” of Article 86 (5), that is, a completely advisory committee without substantive responsibilities that is not a pre -trial committee.

Indeed, Mr Famellos adopted Mr Spirtzis’ proposal, since it had already been rejected (justified by the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure) by the PTB, K. Kaklamanis.

Famellos and Spirtzis are faithfully followed by the example of Mitsotakis and his “blue” executives: attempted concealment, political games and a lack of respect for citizens and victims.

Obviously what unites them is not the revelation of truth and the administration of justice …

The only solution is:

Enough with communication tricks.

The Democracy Movement will continue to require truth, transparency and justice.
