Power outages caused today (12/5/25) delays and disruption to his network measure to Londonas some lines that serve a lot of people, they have suspended itineraries.
The subway Bakerloo line was shut down from 17.15 local time (19.15 hours of Greece), while itineraries on other routes, including Jubilee, Elizabeth and Piccadilly record severe or shorter delays, after a power outage that occurred in London two hours ago.
The Transport for London (TFL) network management company has announced that it is working to re -operate as soon as possible.
“Due to a brief interruption of power supply to our network, some lines have been cut off for a short period of time this afternoon,” TFL Manager Clare Mann said in a statement.

Britain’s National Grid has confirmed that an error in the transfer network caused a power outage.
“The mistake was resolved in seconds and the supply from our network was not interrupted, but a subsequent voltage sinking may have affected a powerful power to the region distribution network in the area,” one press spokesman explained.
According to the National Grid, the incident also caused a small, limited fire that came under control.
The possibility of powering to cause serious problems came to the fore in March, when London’s Heathrow Airport was forced to close for 18 hours, due to a fire that had erupted in a nearby electricity substation, trapping hundreds of thousands of passengers.
