The interest of businesses and citizens in the application is constantly increasing Jobmatch 2.0 her DEPAwhich directly connects tourism and catering businesses with those looking for work in related specialties.
As stated in the NFA announcement, the number of businesses and citizens who use the application by 74% (+1.982) and 29% (+5.522) respectively has increased in the first 3 weeks of operation of the renewed Jobmatch 2.0. Overall, the application has 4,677-usage companies that offer a multitude of new jobs in tourism and catering, both in the region of Greece, as well as in the center and suburbs of Athens, as well as 24,665 candidates who are looking for work in these sectors.
In the last 3 weeks, 17,397 matches have been made, up 53%, and 4,416 work offers have been made (32%increase).
It is recalled that in May 2024, DBA put the Jobmatch application in operation, aiming to cover the increased needs of the tourism industry.
With the new capabilities of upgraded application, the Matching process becomes simpler, making it even more interactive, offering better and more friendly users, providing rapid and effective coverage of labor market needs, especially in critical tourism and catering sectors.
