The Council of Ministers approved at today’s meeting under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis the revision of the consolidated government policy plan for 2025.

According to the revised ESCY presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Kostis Hatzidakis and the Minister of State Akis Skertsos:

*800 reform and investment milestones in an annual total of 1,790 milestones were implemented in the first semester 2025 (a satisfactory degree of 45%)

*73 New milestones were added to the government’s annual action plan for the second half of 2025.

*25 Critical Reforms that change the state, reduce outrageous outbreaks by shielding legitimacy, digitize the State, protect income and support vulnerable citizens, have been proposed by the prime minister as the main priorities of the government and every ministry until the end.

*Greece is 6th in absorption of resources of the European Union recovery and resilience after the approval of the 6th Payment Request (EUR 21.3 billion disbursement to date), with 48% of the mountains against the implementation of 33% in the rest of the EU.

*There was a 19% increase in laws that have been fully implemented from 75 to 100% to their secondary legislation. Two out of three laws are implemented by more than 50%.

The government continues with stability and consistency the implementation of its reform plan, focusing on the citizen and the country’s progress.

All the interventions that have been launched reflect the political will for a state more effective, transparent and close to the citizen – a state that responds with actions to the challenges of the time and lays the foundations for sustainable development, social cohesion and institutional credibility.
