COSMOTE, with the power of Telekom, in the framework of the #EQUALSPORTS initiative, supports women gamers and empowers them to pursue their dream and become eSports Pro Players.
Through an all-day gaming tournament League of Legends (LoL), which will be held on December 3 in 4 COSMOTE stores in Athens and Thessalonikienables 3 winners to win one place at eSports Player Foundation Bootcamp (EPF), to be held at Frankfurt December 14-20 and showcases the greatest gaming talent.

The Women’s 1v1 League of Legends (LoL) tournament will take place on December 3 at COSMOTE stores in Glyfada, The Mall Athens, Ilion and Thessaloniki (central), from 10.30am. until 8.00pm, in specially designed areas with advanced gaming equipment.
Three female winners will live a unique experience at the Esports Player Foundation Bootcamp. The Esports Player Foundation Bootcamp, in addition to gaming skills, also focuses on nutrition, fitness and mental health.
As part of the Bootcamp, the top player will also win a one-year sponsorship from the Esports Player Foundation and Telekom to become a professional esports pro player.
Telekom’s #EQUALSPORTS initiative
Promoting the culture of equality in esports and gaming, Telekom, of which COSMOTE is a member, enables everyone to be part of an inclusive whole, with digital literacy and equality seminars for gamers and parents, in collaboration with Esports Player Foundation.
At the same time, together with SK Gaming, Telekom created the women’s LoL team «SK Avarosa»which won the Equal eSports Cup in 2023. In fact, the SK Gaming Avarosa team attended Athens for the GAMEATHLON powered by GERMANOS, in the three days of November 22-24 at the Tae-Kwon-Do Olympic Arena.
The visitors of the big gaming event had the opportunity to get to know the team up close in a special booth, enjoy them in on stage LoL 5V5 Matches and learn more about gaming, but also the #EQUALESPORTS initiative.
Through a series of actions and initiatives, COSMOTE firmly supports women’s empowerment, with the values of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion being key axes of its strategy.
