In detail the announcement states:
The Competition Committee in plenary, under no. 880/2025 its unanimous decision, approved, pursuant to article 8 par. on the company “ELPEDISON BV”. Before completing the transaction, Elpedisson BV is jointly controlled by Helleniq Energy Holdings SA and Edison International Shareholdings Spa
By its decision, the Commission considered that the above concentration, which relates to the energy sector and other markets, such as the market for the production and supply of electricity at the level of wholesale, electricity trading, electricity supply at retail, wholesale and retail and the refining and trading of petroleum trafficking at each stage of the value chain, although it falls within the scope of paragraph 1 of article 6 of Law 3959/2011, it does not cause serious doubts about its compatibility with the requirements of competition in the individual markets it concerns.
