In consultation the Energy Regulatory Authority (RAAE) raised a new type invoice powerwhich comes to add to existing colors.
This is the red invoice, as it is currently called, which is not linked to the variation of wholesale electricity, but will also contain a flexible element, as well as premature retirement clause.
Specifically, RAAE reports the following about the new invoice color:
Flexible invoices are not in any way linked to wholesale market fluctuations, but the supply charge includes one of the pre -defined “flexible element” element, which may be changed due to elements not defined by the supplier, such as consumption. Indicative and not restrictively flexible invoices may include:
- Scalable pricing per level of consumption, for example a fixed supply (euro/day/month/month) fixed -fixed fixed -cost charge (euro) and/or a fixed supply price (euro/kWh) per grade of consumption, throughout the procurement contract,
- A fixed fixed supply charge (euro/day or euro/month) and/or a fixed commission price (euro/kWh), per six months of the annual duration of the procurement contract,
- a fixed fixed supply charge (euro/day or euro/month) and/or a fixed commission price (euro/kWh) per gradeeuro/day or euro/month) and/or a fixed price (commissioneuro/kWh) for off -level consumption, throughout the procurement contract.
The minimum duration of the procurement contract of flexible fixed -term products is twelve months from the day of representation of the meter (s) referred to in the contract.
The terms of the contract of supply of fixed -term products may not be unilaterally modified by suppliers.
Flexible invoices may have a customer’s premature retirement clause from the procurement contract.
Discounts may be offered in flexible invoices.
