Christos Mandas: The case of the Greek goalkeeper that does not go unnoticed by Panathinaikos

THE Panathinaikos now has a new coach and the team’s management is expected to strengthen Rafa Benitez’s effort with transfers, ahead of January. One of the players who are already being heard about the “clover” is Christos Mandasfor the goalkeeper position.

Christos Mandas has not played for Lazio this year, since Maurizio Sarri prefers Provende. The Greek international goalkeeper has expressed his intention to change his football roof and Panathinaikos is allegedly – according to reports – monitoring his case.

The “clover” has Dragovski and Lafon under the goalposts, but they have fallen into several mistakes. The “greens” have their… antennas open for every Greek footballer – when the conditions are favorable – who is or can become an international player, as they want to further strengthen their Greek element.

Baldini has excellent connections at Lazio at an administrative level and we will have to see – towards the holidays – if there will be any movement from the “cloverleaf” for the international goalkeeper.

Mandas is under contract with Roma until the summer of 2029 and has so far played 32 times for the Italian club.
