The US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said today (30.10.2025) that China has agreed to buy 12 million metric tons soy this year.
For the next three years, the Asian country has agreed to buy at least 25 million tons a year, Scott Bessent told Fox Business.
Bessent’s comments came after President Donald Trump said China would buy “huge” amounts of US soybeans, following a meeting with his counterpart Xi Jinping to hammer out a broad trade deal.
