China: The moment when winds are pushing a paratrooper and freezes at an altitude of 8,000 meters

The “protagonist” of the video made viral is called Liu Ge. The paratrooper claimed that the incredible adventure that almost cost him life happened last Saturday (24.05.25) when he started the flight over the mountains in the northern China area, according to the Global Times.

Suddenly, strong winds lure him, and as a result he loses control of the parachute and find herself above the clouds, specifically at an altitude of 8,000 meters, in a temperature environment below zero, with herself being covered by ice.

However, the man said that he miraculously maintained his senses throughout and eventually managed to make a safe landing.

“I could understand the absence of oxygen and my hands were frozen but I kept communicating with my team,” he told the Global Times.

Liu Ge was taken to the hospital with extensive frostbite, where he is still hospitalized.

After the video was made public, China authorities began an investigation into the GKE flight, as the first reports say it had not been permitted for it.

It is noted that this is a video uploaded to social media and that there is no information on its authenticity so far.
