The Ministry of Commerce China is opposed to the announcement of the measures of USA targeting the sectors of shipbuilding, shipping and logistics, including port charges for ships connected to China.
According to a statement, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce called on the US to stop “shifting responsibilities” and correct its “wrong” practice as soon as possible.
“China will closely monitor the relevant developments from the US and will take the decisive measures to safeguard its interests,” the statement added.
