Chinese Secretary of Commerce Wang Wang Wedao met with European Commissioner Maros Sefkovic, who is visiting the Chinafor a discussion that, according to Shefkovic, included equal terms of competition in trade.
The Ministry of Commerce of China described the meeting, which took place yesterday, Friday (28.3.2025), sincere and realistic exchange of views. In a post on X, Sefkovic said that “it must be ensured that the EU -China relationship is based on equal conditions for competition, on terms of trade flows and investment, with symmetrical market opening.”
The Slovak Commissioner also met yesterday with the Tsine -Chinese economy. Supreme officials in Beijing and Europe are looking for common ground despite long -term commercial disputes, as US President Donald Trump’s government threatens to change transatlantic relations and world trade.
