Manhunt
Charlie Kerk, 31, founder and leader of the Conservative Organization Turning Point USA, was assassinated on Wednesday afternoon while talking to Utah Valley University students in Mount. He was hit in the throat by a large range bullet and succumbed to the hospital shortly afterwards. The weapon, a powerful shutter carbine, was found by the police and is analyzed in the FBI lab. Also, fingerprints and biological traces have been collected.
The victim, the father of two children and a close ally of Donald Trump, had a decisive role in mobilizing the conservative youth in favor of the Maga movement. His speeches at American universities regularly gathered crowded audiences.
During a September 11th memory event in Virginia, Donald Trump paid tribute to his deceased ally: “Charlie was a giant of his generation, a defender of freedom.” The former president has announced that he will be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the largest political honor in the US.
Trump assured that the FBI made a “great progress” for the identification and arrest of the fugitive, which he described as a “animal”.
