The American actor Charley Scalies left his last breath at the age of 84, after a long battle with the Alzheimer’s. Was rugged for his roles in the series The Wire and The Sopranos of HBO.
The news of the actor’s death, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, was confirmed by his daughter, Anne Marie Scalies, at The Hollywood Reporter.
“Known mainly as a spouse, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend whose life reflected a rich combination of professional success, creative passion and true joy for life. His favorite audience was always around the dinner table, “his daughter said in her statement.
Born in Philadelphia on July 19, 1940 in Philadelphia, he entertained his father’s Biliardadian patrons in southern Philadelphia with imitations and jokes. He graduated from St. Joseph’s College and started playing in the theater in the 1990s, participating in Community and Dinner. Among other things, he performed Nicely Johnson on Guys and Dolls, Billy Flynn in Chicago and the cowardly lion to the Wizard of Oz with St. Francis Players in Springfield, Pennsylvania.

In addition to the art space, he was the Director of Sales and Contracts at Clifton Precision and later founded his own counseling business, on ISO 9000 certification and quality management systems.
He left behind his “great love and joy of his life”, his 62 -year -old wife, Angeline M. Scalies, their five children and their four grandchildren.
