With guaranteed funding continues to complete the construction of rainstorm drainage network in the push area Vrilissionan important flood protection project of Attica in the northern sector.
The financial solution was given by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Nikos Papathanassisby signing the project integration into the Public Investment Program, at the request of the Region.
The event welcomes, by posting on social media, the Regional Governor Nikos Chardaliasnoting that “Mr. Papathanassis is a steady helper in the enormous effort of the region to shield the basin, providing solutions related to citizens’ safety.” Mr Chardalias recalls that a similar practice was followed for the funding of Sappho’s current in Maroussi, which will be auctioned in September.
In particular, the project in Vrilissia was contracted in October 2023, proceeds at a rapid pace and Its completion is expected in mid -2026.
To date they have been built:
– About 3,000 m from the provided for 5,488 m cement pipelines.
– About 200 of the projected 350 hydrosulting wells.
– The construction of the slopes retaining piles in the tanks and about 50% of the excavations in the tank D2 has been completed.
– The work on the slopes of the tanks have begun and are underway.
– Excavations have begun in the intermittent layer of filtration D3, which found ancient and there is an ongoing rescue excavation.
