Fully removed from today (11.8.2025) Charges to ATM For withdrawals cashwhile at the same time based on the new regulation of the Ministry of Finance and a national ceiling (ceiling) of € 1.50 for withdrawals made by ATM of third parties is established.
According to what was known, the ATM regulation aims to immediately relieve the costs for citizens. It also provides for removal of charges by third parties when there is direct or indirect shareholding with the bank’s bank, as well as zero charges to municipal communities where only one ATM operates.
All balance questions are made free of charge, regardless of a bank or provider.
Specifically, the arrangement provides:
- Reset supplies for cash withdrawals among all banks involved in the DIAS interbank system.
- Abolition of charges by third parties when there is direct or indirect shareholder connection with the customer’s bank.
- Zero charges and from third parties to municipal communities where only one ATM operates.
- A 1.50 euro ceiling for withdrawals of third -party payment providers across the country.
- Free balance question for all card holders, regardless of a bank or ATM provider.
- Single charge of 0.50 euros for shipping through digital channels (web, mobile, internet banking) from third parties, in exchange rate with banks’ charges.
- Legislation that no bank can charge its customers for cash withdrawals.
The new framework responds to a constant demand of citizens for fair and transparent charges in daily transactions.
