Challenge from the pseudo-state to the UN: It denounces violations of “airspace” by Greek and Cypriot aircraft

The expectations created by Tufan Erhurman’s triumphant victory in the “elections” held on October 19 in pseudo state her Cyprus. In a letter from a representative of the occupying regime to the UN, references are again made to “two states”, as dictated by the line maintained by Turkey.

In particular, in the letter of the representative of the pseudo-state in New York, which was forwarded to the Secretary General of the UN by the Permanent Representative of Turkey to the United Nations, answers are given to recent reports of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Cyprus to the international organization for violations of the airspace and territorial waters of Cyprus.

In the response letter of the pseudo-state, there is provocative talk of a violation of its “airspace” and air traffic rules in its “responsibility” area, by the government aircraft of the Republic of Cyprus and transport aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force.

This is yet another attempt by the pseudo-state, led by Ankara, in order to project to the international community and the UN the alleged existence of “two states” in Cyprus, which have two different airspaces and areas of responsibility for flight control.

Also, the pseudo-state, with this letter, attempts to secure and legalize the illegal airport of Tymbou (“Erkan”), in the context of the overall effort to accept the condition set by the Turkish Cypriot side, in order to allow direct flights to the occupied territories.
