OR Barcelona took a 4-2 victory against Celta for matchday 12 of La Liga with a terrific display and three goals Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 10th minute. Radu came close to averting the Pole’s execution. Telta responded immediately with Carreira for the equaliser. The Polish striker gave the Catalans the lead again with a fine curling shot from inside the area.
However, Celta responded again with Borja Iglesias making it 2-2, but Yamal with a goal in stoppage time of the first half made it 3-2. Lewandowski completed his hat-trick in the 74th minute with a header from a Rashford corner.
Frenkie De Jong was sent off in stoppage time with a second yellow card and will miss the Catalans’ next game against Athletic Bilbao. His suspension did not affect the match against Celta, as the outcome of the match had already been decided, with the Blaugrana winning 4-2.
The Catalans closed the gap on Real Madrid and the top of the standings to 3 points, taking advantage of the Queen’s gela against Rayo Vallecano. Telta is in 13th place.
