Hose Matron by Russia
Hosea Matrona was born in 1881 AD. In the village of Sebino Epiphany of the prefecture of Toula, today called Komifsky, by pious and virtuous parents, Dimitrios and Natalia. Hosea still had three brothers, Ivan, Michael and Maria. Her parents, because they were poor, thought of giving the child waiting for the Golicin orphanage.
But Matrona’s mother saw, before her birth in her dream that she came and sat on her right hand a bird in human form but without eyes. Then she considered her dream as a point to God, that the child who brings to the world would be a vessel of election and so they decided not to give it to the orphanage.
Hose was born blind. In her baptism, made by the priest kingdom, reverent and proactive, a light cloud that gave fragrance was formed over the swimming fountain. It was also a point that revealed the spiritual progress that Saint would have.
The only place that was going on, because it was blind, was the church. When her mother did not find her at home, she knew that Matron was in the church. Since her childhood, she had been given the proactive and insightful charisma. He knew people’s diseases, their problems, their failures, so he warned and advised them.
Hosea visited many Russian pilgrimages. In one of her pilgrims she was found in front of Saint John of Crostand, who was still living then. Without seeing Hosea, he said to open space and shouted, “Matron, come here”, without knowing it. And Saint John continued: “This will be my successor. This is the eighth pillar of Russia. ” Saint was then fourteen years old.
At the age of seventeen Matrona not only did not see, but stopped walking. He lived so paralyzed fifty years. However, she never complained and said that the reason for all that happened to her and only God knows the causes. He said to those who visited her: “The time will come to you in front of you bread and cross to choose from. We will have difficult times and we Christians have to choose the cross. “
The people who visited her blessed him, put her hands on their head and read prayers. On her forehead, from the many crosses she made, she was formed. God claimed it with the gift of miracle, and so many healed and benefited spiritually.
The Holy God revealed to her that the day of her exit from this vain world was approaching. Three days before her death, she gave instructions on her exodus and her burial. Hosea Matrona slept with peace in 1952 AD. and was buried in the Cemetery of the Daniel Monastery.
