St. Argyris Neo -Martyr
St. Neo -Martyr Argyris was born in Bursa in the year 1688 AD. He was beautiful in appearance and fearful of God. While she was still newlyweds, she was loved by a Turk, who could not bring her close to him, she fought against her that she wanted to embrace the Muslim religion.
The Bursa judge immediately imprisoned the saint. The Christian wife of the saint, after his actions, succeeded in making the trial in Constantinople. But there, too, after the Turk came, he falsely martyred against him again. In her apology, the Saint confessed her faith in Christ with spiritual bravery and boldness.
Thus, at the behest of the judge, he was thrown into the prison of Haskioi, where after long -term suffering and torture, she handed her spirit to the Lord in 1721 AD.
