Saints Petros and Paul Protocarbic Apostles
Peter came from Bethsida, Galilee and was the son of Jonah, brother of the Apostle Andrew of the Protocrat. Peter and Andreas were fishermen on Lake Gennesaret. He had been married to Capernaum, where he was staying with his mother -in -law with his mother -in -law. As the Gospel informs us, when Jesus arrived at the Lake of the Gennesaret, he met the two brothers Peter and Andrew who threw their nets.
Immediately after their call, they left their nets and their families and followed him. A fisherman in the profession, he was a type of spontaneous, rushing, and his life near Christ is learned from the four Gospels, while his apostolic action, from the Acts of the Apostles.
He also wrote two Catholic letters, in which he urges Christians: “You have been fucking, quickly, the adulterable devil as a Leo ride in the midst of Tina” (1 Peter, E. 8).
That is, you are overthrown, become alert and careful. Because your opponent and accuser is the devil, like a roar lion, walks with fury and asks who to pull away from faith and swallow him. After the Lord’s assumption, Peter taught the Gospel in Judea, Antioch, Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia. According to tradition (which means that it is not completely historically cross-released) it reached Rome, where a martyred death was suffered under Nero (54-68 AD), after being crucified, with his head down around 64 AD.
And Paul was born in Tarsus, Cilicia in a passage called Gishhala and at first was a hard -working persecutor of Christianity. In 36 AD About, when he was once going to Damascus to chase Christians there, he became a miracle in which Christ appeared, who commanded him to go to Anania who held him and baptized him. Thus, he became the greatest preacher of the Gospel, even sacrificing his life for it.
He was named the first one after the one and the Apostle of the Nations, because of his four large apostolic tours. He is the founder of the Church of Greece. He wrote 14 letters to the churches he founded. He will see his life with his adventures if he studies the Acts of the Apostles and his 14 letters in the New Testament.
The Apostle Paul wants every Christian, as he himself, to feel and say, “I do not live, and in the midst of Christ” (to Galatas II 20). That is, I no longer live, the old man, but Christ lives within me.
And yet, “everything and at all times” (to Kolssai III 11). That is, to direct all the manifestations of our human life Christ. The Apostle Paul suffered a martyred death (without being completely historically intersected) by beheading in Rome between 64 – 67 AD.
