The Great Escape… no fence in zoo at Britain could not hold away from honey, two small teddy bears...
The teddy bears were burst from a zoo in Britain on Monday (23.06.2025), running to the nearby honey warehouse, the zoo announced today.
Miss and Lucy, two four -year -old teddy bears, “escaped from their fenced space Yesterday (Monday) (…) and ran straight to their food, “a Wildwood Devon spokesman said.
The two animals “ate different products, including a amount of honey of a week, before they were safely returned to their cage less than an hour later” accompanied by zoo staff.
“At no time they were a threat to the public,” although visitors were temporarily gathered in a building preventively, the zoo added.
The teddy bears were watched every moment by the surveillance cameras and the groups in the area.
After enjoying … their “booty”, Miss and Lucy returned and slept quietly in their fenced space.
Police were sent to the scene and an investigation is being carried out to find out how the two teddy bears escaped.
The Wildwood Devon zoo extends to 160 acres of land and forest and specializes in indigenous British species. It hosts wolves, foxes, lumps, reptiles and birds.
