The pop Group Beach Boys were created by Brian Wilson, along with his brothers Carl and Dennis, their nephew Mike Lov, and their friend Al Jardin.
Initially Brian was a songwriter, producer, bassist, player for the band and their head.
After signing a contract with Capitol Records in 1962, Wilson wrote and participated in writing over 20 songs that reached the top 40 for the band.
In 1964, he suffered a nervous collapse and stopped touring with his team, which led to more personal work such as Pet Sounds.
Wilson was the first pop artist credited for writing, organization, production and execution of his own material.
It is considered an important pioneer in the field of music production and the main creator of California Sound.
