The arraignment earlier on Monday (09.12.2024) of a man as a suspect in the murder by Brian Thompson, CEO of United Healthcare, on December 4 at Manhattan.
As announced by the police and the city of New York, the suspect’s name is Luigi Mangioni, he is 26 years old and was arrested in Pennsylvania in the investigation into the midway killing in Manhattan of the president of the American health insurance giant United Healthcare.

“Members of the Altoona police force,” 500 kilometers west of New York, “arrested Luigi Mangioni, a 26-year-old man, for possession of firearms. At this time, we believe this is the person we are looking for in the targeted and brazen killing of Brian Thompson, CEO of United Healthcare,” New York Police Director Jessica Tice said during a news conference, flanked by Mayor Eric Adams.
