THE Olympic was riveting in Munich and prevailed with her 96-71 Bayern Munich for the 6th matchday of the Euroleague.
Pluralism made the difference for Olympiakos against Bayern Munich. All the players offered a lot on the court and this was the key element that gave the 4th victory in the competition to the team of Giorgos Bartzokas.
The combativeness of Ward and McKissick was an example for all in the “camp” of Piraeus. Dorsey was a constant in the attack, but without stealing from the defense. Vezenkov at the end of the game with important baskets “cleaned” Bayern Munich who had reduced the difference to 12 points.

The fight
In the first quarter, Olympiacos, with the help of Tyler Dorsey, as well as his amazing defense, laid the foundations for victory in the match. The American had 9 points and the “red and white” finished the first period with an eight point lead (23-15).
The image of the match, not only did not change in the second quarter, but was even better for the team of Giorgos Bartzokas. Everything was going according to plan. The defense was insurmountable and in attack Olympiacos was getting points from all players. McKissick who played for the first time put a lot of energy and with 5 points and 2 steals he gave a lot of points in the surprise for his team. The half ended with Piraeus leading 47-29.
In the third quarter the “red and whites” were not so good in defense and conceded 23 points, but in the attack they kept the same pace and this did not make them lose the difference they had from the first half. The third period ended with a score of 69-52 in favor of Olympiakos.
Bayern Munich in the last period reached the difference to 12 points and then Vezenkov took action with Dorsey. The two of them with back-to-back three-pointers gave dimensions of triumph to the victory of the “red and whites” in Bavaria (96-71).
