Available through gov.gr It is today more than 170,000 degrees at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Graduates with an undergraduate degree from 2000 onwards can issue a digital copy of their degree through ptyxia.gov.gr. It is all the undergraduate degree in the Foundation’s 42 sections from the year 2000 onwards. The postgraduate degrees of the University are also available from 2022 onwards.

For the issuance of the digital copy of their degree, graduates of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens can search for the “Higher Education Degree” service in the gov.gr search field or directly to ptyxia.gov.gr.

Graduates, if they are connected to Taxisnet passwords and register their AMKA, can issue digital copies of their diplomas, with a unique verification code and advanced electronic stamp of gov.gr, ensuring the authenticity of the document. In this way, the file of the qualifications may be sent electronically or a printed copy of it may be submitted.

The authenticity of the copies is easily and quickly verified through the docs.gov.gr/validate application by typing the unique verification code of the document.

In addition, these diplomas can be highlighted electronically with the Hague stamp via the e-apostille.gov.gr platform, enabling citizens to send their diplomas abroad with just a few clicks, instead of two visits with a physical presence.

It is recalled that through ptyxia.gov.gr more than 740,000 degrees from 23 institutions are now available electronically, as well as academic recognition of DOATAP degrees. To date, approximately 128,000 copies have been issued. A detailed list of available degrees per university can be found in: https://ptyxia.gov.gr/universities/. Gradually, the aim is to integrate all university institutions in the country.

The design and development of the service was made by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Ministry of Education, Religions and Sports, the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Government and the National Technology and Research Infrastructure Network (EYDIS SA). Citizens and degrees are drawn through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Government of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
