Athens Stock Exchange: Weekly rise 0.64% with a profit of 25.39% since early 2025

At the same time, the presence of foreign investors in the Greek market continues to be strong, with its participation in capitalization being 68.7% and in trading activity at 61.5%, while in 2025 they are buyers of EUR 450 million.

Also 14% increase in 2025 the number of active investors compared to 2024 and is 27,718.

The General Price Index closed the week at 1,842, 83 points, compared to 1,831.17 units of the previous week, with a weekly rise of 0.64 %, while by the beginning of the year it records profits of 25.39 %.

The FTSE/ASE 25 high capitalization index closed a week with a rose 0.74% and has made 29.14% in the beginning of 2025.

The FTSE MID mid -capitalization index closed with a weekly decline of 0.14%, and since the beginning of the year it rose 16.63%.

The bank index closed a week with a marginal rise of 0.08%, while in early 2025 it has made a profit of 43.02%.

The total value of transactions at this week’s meetings amounted to EUR 1,012,051 million, while the average daily transaction value stood at EUR 202,410 million, 315,601 million euros of last week.

Total market capitalization in the end of the week increased by EUR 515 million and stood at € 125.404 billion, and since the beginning of the year it increased by € 22.259 billion.
