Athens Stock Exchange: upward start of 0.33%, positive climate in Europe

Mild upward trends record values of shares to Athens Stock Exchange In today’s (17.7.25) opening, amidst rising European markets, which recover after four declining meetings.

Specifically, the General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange stands at 1,964.95 points, rising to 0.33% shares and the value of transactions is € 21.39 million.

The high capitalization index is up 0.25%, while the medium capitalization index is up to 0.56%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of ELVALHALCOR (+1.35%), OTE (+1.12%), OPAP (+0.88%) and Viohalco (+0.79%) recorded the highest rise.

On the other hand, the shares of Aktor (-0.84%), Sarantis (-0.58%) and Coca Cola HBC (-0.44%) are the largest decline.

57 shares move up, 23 declining and 12 remain constant. The biggest gain was recorded by the shares: Haidmeni (+2.86%) and Intertec (+2.55%), while the biggest declines: Mouzakis (-3.08%) and UNIBIOS (-2.59%).

European Stock Exchanges: Mildly rose shares

European shares have also risen today after four consecutive downfall meetings, amid optimism about a possible trade agreement between the US and the European Union.

In particular, the Pan -European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.8% at 10:18 pm Greece.

The ABB Swiss Group’s share recorded 8.2% jumping after the announcement of strong quarterly results. Siemens and Schneider Electric’s competing shares were up 3.6% and 5.8%, respectively.
