With mild rise the values of the shares Today Monday (19.5.2025) at first meeting of the week of the Athens Stock Exchange, as the initial fluids were absorbed to record short earnings with the market closing in at a young age of 15 years.
The General Index closed at 1,810.72 points, up 0.37%. It is the highest closure of the meeting of 3 May 2010 (1,853.55 points). The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 177.45 million, with 32,115,288 shares.
The high capitalization index rose 0.18%, while the mid -capitalization index fell 0.19%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of AIA (+3.17%), Coca Cola HBC (+1.43%), GEK TERNA (+1.42%), Optima (+1.07%) and OTE (+0.95%) were the largest. On the other hand, the biggest decline was the shares of Viohalco (-1.19%), Greece (-1.05%), PPA (-0.99%) and Elvalhalcor (-0.93%).
The largest volume of transactions were presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 6,482,659 and 6,416,803 shares, respectively. Cyprus with 28.5 million euros and Piraeus with € 28.3 million was the highest value of trading.
57 -municipal ones were raised, down 55 and 11 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: MIG (+9.65%) Optronics (+9.09%). The biggest decline was recorded by Daios (-4.31%) and Dimand (-4.20%).
